The Sheet Metal Institute project called for visits to Portland, Springfield and various sites in Eugene. I was the principal shooter for corporate headshots, campus photos and buildings that represented the amazing industry of sheet metal works.

I shot with my trusty Canon 60D equipped with an on camera flash and a 18mm - 200mm telephoto lens. Both the Springfield and Portland SMI locations had the benefit of a large door or window which allowed a heavenly spray of natural light on the subjects. A touch of fill light from the flash and the results stand head and shoulders above almost all of my studio portraits.
Multi-Site Photo Shoot
One of the photo shoots sent us to a location where both the sheet metal and metal workers could be captured. Even though this was a 'website' project, it was well understood from the beginning that the media we needed to capture was essential for the story that needed to be told.
